I founded Watch Dogs in 2003 after 20+ years in the corporate world. I recognized from my own experience the need for busy dog lovers to have help exercising and entertaining their dogs. My young springer spaniels needed more than just a walk around the block.

That idea became Watch Dogs. I’ve now been in business for 14 years and most of my clients have been with me since they got their dog. My husband Greg is an architect. We share our Corona del Mar cottage with Stella, Ellie (Labrador Retrievers) and Cippolini (English Springer Spaniel/Bluetick Coonhound mix). Our fur kids are rescues adopted from volunteer non-profit rescue organizations.

Stacey’s Dogs

Watch Dog’s mission is to improve the quality of life for each dog and their owner using a holistic and comprehensive approach. I’ve helped families find the right dog for them, train and socialize their puppies, spot and address health issues and say goodbye when the time came. My client’s dogs become part of the Watch Dogs family and I am someone they can count on when they need help with their dogs.

The Watch Dogs family is a small group of regulars that love Auntie Stacey. I’m their dog’s best friend. Our strength is consistency in care and quality. I’m the primary dog walker. But there is a plan in place in case of an emergency (yours or mine) because let’s face it stuff happens. We’ll find a solution together in the rare event that something comes up and I can’t help.

Each customer has their own professional back up who is coached on their pet’s preferences. Customers have the option of meeting their back up sitter and the peace of mind that they won’t be left in the lurch.

Watch Dogs is a small business by choice. I offer personalized attention by limiting the number of clients (not overcommitting and underperforming). Your dog is having a great time with a few buddies under the supervision of a professional experienced in dog behavior and socialization. Watch Dogs’ play date customers are in Corona del Mar and surrounding neighborhoods. I offer overnight dog sitting to dogs that are part of our regular pack. I’m happy to recommend alternatives if we are not able to add your pet to the Watch Dogs family. Dog care is not one size fits all. We both want what’s best for your dog and your family. Perhaps you want the option to board your dog in someone’s home, need a dog trainer, groomer or live in another part of Orange County.
